As if that sentence was invented for the 8C. A second and third synonym for the 8C is stubborn and unique. Something that also ties in with its only and first owner; Jan des Bouvrie. He also saw salvation in the beautiful lines of the future classic. When it was introduced, the 8C was available in three colours, but Jan wanted it white. After some calls from the main importer in the Netherlands, a white one was arranged especially for Jan.

And let's be honest as an enthusiast; an über Alfa, 8 cylinders and all the genes of a supercar. The price too, by the way, something we normally spend on the housing market. But Mr. Mortgage Provider, this mobile temple has just as much rational potential as the current overheated housing market!

Many modern 'odes' do not go as well as expected. Especially because the old was so iconic that the new can hardly do anything but disappoint. Alfa is one of the few who knows how to do this. The engine block was developed in collaboration with Maserati. After all, those guys from Bologna know what they are doing with the 64-valve cacophony. Alfa added some extra venom and passion. End result? Damn, that's good. A meaner and sharper roar from the 4.7, even more afterburning and above all, even more goose bumps!

She was recently fully serviced by the Alfa dealer who also delivered her new at the time. With her 19 thousand kilometers she is broken in, but has not yet given us enough smiles. One of the 500 Italian heroes who was ridden by an absolute Dutch style icon. Do we need to say more? We'll see you soon.
