L'histoire de cette pièce de collection...
Hmm. Those bonnet stripes really bring out your headlights. Your boot is nice and you look great topless. I am talking about my Mini Cooper S. Of course.
The 'new Mini' was already quite a success when the R56 was presented in 2009. Such a success that not much changed in terms of looks. She got 6 cm extra cabin space, which moved the rear seat from unusable to 'only for small children'. Under the skin a lot happened; the entire infotainment became modern and BMW interfered even more with the quality. Too girly? Absolutely not. We agree, she may look somewhat feminine, but do we as men mind? She steers like a go-kart, gives a huge amount of confidence and brings, guaranteed, the smile at downshifts. BOP BOP BOP!!! In the process, the 1.6 turbo block was developed together with BMW, Peugeot and Citroen. Big names in the fast GTi hatchback world.
Ours went to the GP-Works department of Mini. The end result? 265 HP, even tighter road handling and something with a lot of afterburner; Bravo! Only 7% of Mini's are delivered with a diesel engine and only 10% are delivered with a manual gearbox? Why? Right. A true lovers car! Ours is a little extra metrophile, she has a jeans roof! Fully serviced, almost full options and now ready to go topless again. Will we see you soon?
Soon, small will mean huge, the way bad means good. - Mini.
