La historia detrás de este coleccionable...
- Passion is the love of the journey, drive is a need to reach your destination -
The Volkswagen Beetle is and will always be one of the most beloved cult cars. A car that was sold in huge numbers worldwide and was even produced in Mexico until 2003 (58 years!!). Based on this 'people's friend', Bruce Meyers first came up with the next 'cult item' in 1964; the Volkswagen Buggy. He built a polyester body and shorted the existing Beetle chassis. From this his 'Dune Buggy' was born. The Beetle was already very light, but the Meyers and Manx really weighs less than the average American after his lunch. This combined with the tuned air-cooled four-cylinder boxer block (over 130 HP) is the ideal concept for an incredibly fun weekend car!
The hardtop comes off easily, allowing you to drive completely open. This feeling is enhanced by the fact that there are no doors. With the high-performance parts and Vintage Volkshouse custom exhaust, you can see and notice that no part has been skimped on. Our Meyers Manx baby carriage was built by a private collector and really did not skimp on a single item. The total build cost him over €40,000.00! Since then the baby carriage has driven just over 1,000 km. We will change the run-in oil when it is sold, the Volkswagen still needs to be run in.
Who sees themselves riding in the most beautiful Meyers Manx in the Netherlands? Coffee is ready!
