As Nationalist car enthusiasts, we Dutch can be quite proud; DAF, Spyker and Donkervoort all came out of orange. Donkervoort, despite a total production of about 40 units per year, has survived. Joop Donkervoort, besides his active lobby in the government where according to him (shout out to him!) the speed on highways could best go to 200 km/h, was also very busy with his first concept in 1978. The Donkervoort S8, based on a Lotus 7.

Like Porsche, Donkervoort has something to be very proud of. Almost all of the cars produced (a total of about 1500 pieces) are still driving around.
