La historia detrás de este coleccionable...
Aston Martin’s oil smells like cologne, it’s leather feels like a young woman’s skin, it’s grille is not a grille, it’s a moustache.. - Anonymous legend
A V12 Vanquish, an alliteration that you pronounce with verve as if you are confidently ending a discussion. Ian Callum, head designer of Aston Martin, has managed to create a new work of art after the DB7 and the DB9; the Vanquish. The Vanquish is Aston Martin’s top model and at the time cost around 100,000 more than a DB9. This difference was visible in ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’. James Bond enjoyed the 5.9 liter shaken Martini, not stirred. He brought himself and the handsome Wai Lin to safety with this English thoroughbred. Due to the popularity of the Vanquish, Aston Martin had to scale up production to 500 instead of 300.
When the Vanquish was shown to the public in 2001, it was a new concept for Aston Martin, with the entire body consisting of aluminum and the chassis of carbon fiber and aluminum. This allowed the gentleman's coupe to reach 100 in just 4.6 seconds and, if you had a bit of space (and hair on your chest), 306 km/h.
This Vanquish is an original Dutch delivered car, and both owners have always neatly stamped the car. Our Vanquish is in the beautiful Blue Sapphire with Kestrel Tan interior, which contrasts nicely with your dinner jacket. With 42,500 kilometers on the counter, the car has just been run in, and is ready for many more kilometers. Suit up, Bond, this Vanquish gave you the license to thrill. See you soon?
You buy a DB9 if you want to loaf across Europe. You buy a Vanquish if you want a bare knuckle pedal to the medal trash on a Sunday morning.
