Mercedes 300 SE W112 Coupé
Especificaciones
La historia detrás de este coleccionable...
The Mercedes 300 SE W112 Coupe. The predecessor of what later became the S-class. The W112 ranks between the W110, W111 and W112 (the Heckflosse's), where the W112 was the showpiece of the Mercedes stable. The nickname was due to the fins on the back of the car, which are somewhat reminiscent of American contemporaries. According to Mercedes, it was different; they were corner markers that were useful when parking such a stately large car.
Our W112 is equipped with all the desired options; air suspension (air bellows revised), Becker Mexico radio, automatic with steering wheel shift, center armrest in the front and white walls on the tires from the factory. Furthermore, the entire history of the car is known and even the original (!) booklets and data card are still present.
The 300 SE started its life in Zurich, Switzerland with a medical specialist. This gentleman owned the car for over 25 years, after which the car was taken over by a Mercedes dealer in Zurich. They had the car in their showroom for 7 years (we also think because of the cool color combination with the Papyrus white and wine red interior) as private property. After seven years, the third (and current) owner was given the opportunity to take over this beautiful Benz and have it moved to the Netherlands. For the quick calculators among us; it has indeed been in the possession of the current owner since 1996.
Our Mercedes 300 SE W112 Coupé has been completely restored and the engine and gearbox overhauled. Compared to the convertible version, the 300 SE is still lagging behind in value appreciation. In our opinion, that will not last much longer. So with these unique colors, besides a lot of enjoyment, it is also very sensible!
