The story behind this collectible...
Why should you have to choose between style and performance when you can have both?
That is exactly what this car stands for. We could keep repeating that even Enzo Ferrari considered this car the most beautiful of all time. But let's face it, we know that now! By the way, did you know that he really, really considered this car to be the most beautiful ever?
An interim phase was built from 1967 to 1968, informally known as the "1 1/2. These models were very similar to the Series 1, but toward the end they no longer had glass-covered headlights and different control levers. Slowly, equipment from the upcoming Series 2 was added, while the bodywork always remained that of the Series 1.
At Jaguar itself, these "1 1/2s" simply fell under the Series 1. We could talk for hours about the E-Type's stunning design, the condition of its nut & bolt restoration, its history and also the fact that this example still has its original mileage and its breathtaking color, Golden Sand! By the way, did you already know that Enzo Ferrari thinks this is really, really, the most beautiful car ever?
