The story behind this collectible...
The Mercedes-Benz SL of the R107 type. Cars with a timeless beauty. This R107 is an original German delivered car and crossed the border of the Netherlands in 1989. Since then, it has delighted three owners with its smooth engine and fantastic build quality.
The SL is rust free. The fenders, seams, trunk lid and door thresholds are completely intact. The interior of this well cared for R107 is also in good condition. The interior always says a lot about a car, with this R107 we see that it has always been well cared for.
The consumption is around 11 liters per 100 kilometers. By today's politically correct standards, this is of course a bit much, but for a car from 1983 with a fat six cylinder engine, this is not excessive.
The electric windows, air conditioning and hardtop make this Mercedes a practical enthusiast's car that is very friendly to use. In short, the R107 is a fantastic classic; incredibly beautiful, comfortable, fast, powerful and very solid.
