Corradino D’Ascanio, the brilliant mind behind the Vespa, came up with a genius idea: a three-wheeled micro-truck to help speed up Italy’s reconstruction. Enrico Piaggio, the maestro behind the Vespa, was instantly convinced.

Speed? No, that wasn’t really the priority. The early Apes came with 50cc, 125cc, 150cc engines, and later a “super-fast” 175cc version. Perfect for zipping through narrow alleys, bouncing over cobbled Italian streets, carrying a load of fresh tomatoes in the back – or why not, a few bottles of Chianti.

This beauty was fully restored and transformed into a servizio clienti vehicle for Ferrari, delivering delicious espresso to many a Ferrari driver. Now that’s service! The vehicle has been converted into a mobile refreshment station, featuring a built-in fridge, power sockets, and a charging port.
