All SUVs promise freedom. Only a few have actually fought for it.
- Range Rover
The Range Rover Classic. A real SUV. An SUV before they became mud-free and were more likely to be found with school mothers on the hockey field than on the heath. Land Rover of course had a big head start in terms of technology, which had long been proven and tested in the series 1, 2 and Defender. The previous models were of course great as a cattle farmer, forest ranger or uh.. mushroom photographer, but had nothing to do with comfort. On an average cobblestone road it felt like you were in a covered wagon, on your way to communion. This could be different. There was also a category of gentlemen farmer, who wanted to go to the shops with a big V8, covered in leather and a touch of walnut wood, but through the forest path. This opened up such a niche that Land Rover came up with the Range Rover. Same principles, but with a potato in the end muffler and much more comfort.
This is how our Range Rover Classic, three-door, came into being. After many years of faithful service in Portugal, our Classic 3.9 V8 has been completely revised and rebuilt according to Monstter standards. Its entire chassis, engine and bodywork have been checked and, where necessary, modernized and restored. The Rock gliders, the hidden winch on remote control, the larger tires and lift kit make it a serious tool for a forest mushroom tour. Difference? This one also just drives along on the A1 at 130. How convenient! Are you looking for the coolest Classic restomod Range in the Netherlands? We'll see you soon.
It doesn't just say you've arrived. It also says you'll get home. Sometimes, more is more. -
