The story of the world-famous “Geländewagen” begins with none other than the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. At the time, he was a major shareholder of Mercedes-Benz and suggested the development of a “go anywhere” vehicle with indestructible qualities—suitable for both military and civilian use. You could call it a true stroke of genius.
Since its launch in 1979, this icon has seen four generations. In 2023, a remarkable milestone was reached: the 500,000th unit of the G-Class rolled off the production line. Over the years, this model has proven to wear many hats—ranging from Popemobile to military vehicle, from luxury 6x6 SUV to fire truck. Proudly built in all forms!
And what about ours? A Limited Edition Mercedes-Benz G350d Professional—only 463 were ever produced, all finished in the unique China Blue. This version features the Offroad Package, special bumpers, and a bold steel design.
