The story behind this collectible...
"I'm sorry, but having an Aston Martin DB7 on the driveway and not driving it is a bit like having Keira Knightley in your bed and sleeping on the couch." - Jeremy Clarkson
Where many brands struggle enormously to give their badge prestige, with Aston Martin it is no problem at all. Everyone knows what it stands for, not to mention that it was helped by British secret agent James Bond. Aston Martin is synonymous with charismatic, stylish and fast gentleman Gran Turismo's. Not a race car, but definitely more sporty and agile than its British brother Bentley.
The ultimate Gentleman Cool Classic, on sale with us! The DB7 has been a hugely important model for Aston Martin. Thanks to Ian Callum's design, after the DB7, The Vanquish, DB9 and V8 Vantage were tapped from the same 'Design keg'. Grandiose success these cars.
Ours, of course, is special again. An Alfred Dunhill version, a beautiful British brand that sold luxury goods. Only 150 of these were made, and this is number 65. You can recognize this one by the beautiful Dunhill Grey paint, with thick Charcoal Connolly skins with recurring silver trim. There are also special Dunhill rims underneath, with the hub cap based on Dunhill's watch. You recognize the watch shape right away when you see it. As befits a decent English brand, they come up with gadgets that make you feel like a secret agent. Don't want an ashtray in the car and are averse to big cigars? Then you got a shaving kit with this version.
It is an original Swiss delivered car. The current owner bought the car himself at Lake Geneva and immediately tested it on the Autobahn on his way back to the Netherlands. Perfectly maintained classic car which lends itself to wonderful touring through its automatic transmission.
