The story behind this collectible...

The Pagode, an absolute household name among classic car enthusiasts. This is not only because of its beautiful looks. Before that, you had two beautiful convertibles: the 190SL and the 300SL Gullwing. However, one was too slow, the other too expensive! Therefore, Mercedes immediately came out with this beautiful model with many improvements. Safety was paramount, but it had to go hand in hand with form and elegance. 'Das beste oder nichts.'

The result is a beautiful design with no fuss. The roof was given a safe "roll-proof" structure that sloped up the sides. With this design, it was akin to an Oriental building; a Pagode. Voila, a 'spitz name' was born for this magnificent SL, and later became a legend. Design and engineering came together in a cruiser that screamed to cruise around elegantly in a timeless classic.

You know us a little by now, and know that we are always looking for something nice, something extra. Ours is an original American-made Mercedes 250 SL manual transmission. This one has been neatly restored and fully documented, just the way you want it!

We ourselves are still amazed at how modern this 'Sixties-Lovely' drives. Are you looking for a good investment, a beautiful classic cruiser, or both? Then come by soon, and let's take a ride!
