The story behind this collectible...

Elvis Presley wins hearts with blue suede shoes for the first time. In Cuba, 'El Commandante' Castro smoked cigars thicker than President Batista. Drive-in cinemas are a great success and McDonald's has just been taken over to be made big. Ladies and gentlemen, it is the 1950s in the USA. Ford came after a resounding success with the second generation of F-series. The models were designed for a variety of uses; from the F100 for the light McDrive consumer at perfect window height, to the F900 'Big Job' that took over the McDonald's distribution of the fast food chain. So the F100 was 'the mightiest concentration of power per cubical inch offered in any truck line'! In 1955 of course.

This baby blue candy of 1500KG was delivered in Oklahoma in 1955, after which she made the crossing over the Atlantic in 1999, after which the whole body was repainted. After resting for a while, she was treated immediately and the whole engine was overhauled. Everything was done by Dutch specialists, and since then the car has been perfectly maintained. She has always stood in a heated shed and has never changed hands in 20 years.

The F100 was advertised with a three-seater sofa in the front. We see it as the perfect opportunity to drive thigh to thigh with your love into the sunset, of course with a BigMac in your hands, and Elvis singing through the radio.

Howdy!
