The story behind this collectible...
The name is Martin. Aston Martin. Licensed to thrill
The Aston Martin DB9. A car with handsome -collected- ancestors. Yes, the DB7 had Mazda taillights, yes, the keys of the Vanquish were from an Audi A2. But; It kept this British Gentle-man sportscar manufacturer afloat . In fact, Aston was able to design an all-aluminum GT body under the leadership of Mr. Bez in a brand new factory in Gaydon, England. And so, in 2003, Aston Martin's 911 was born; The DB9.
Finally, the DB9 treated the -medium-sized -landowner with taste- 13 years on a yearly new model or facelifts. Just to be sure you'd be lavishing in style. And yes, with its final 540 polo horses in the latest 'version', it was not the fastest 'sportswoman' in the stable. But that is not all that matters. All the Connery cows, double stitching and modest(er) appearance also do what. Not only power, but also beauty and soul!
Ours? As it should be. From the last year of construction, so free of teething problems and in the period that the Germans were actively involved in the development and production. How nice, an Aston Martin with a little less British 'humor'. Only 13 thousand kilometers, Kroymans delivered and maintained. All options, likes to go topless. Let's be honest, that went from 0 to 100 in "I wanna have it!". See you soon?
