The story behind this collectible...
The E60 BMW M5. It's a fasterpiece.
In 2003, BMW showed the fifth generation of the 5 Series. It was a distinct design, lots of aluminum and for the time, the very modern iDrive system. What a fine ... uh ... innovative system that was! Fortunately when you hit the start button, you immediately forgot about it. Two years after the introduction of the E60, the M'er came out. The last engine in the M5 series to send its power towards the rear wheels atmospherically.
Perhaps BMW already knew that the next generation had to pass the Greta Commission; in fact, they specifically built the 5.0-liter V10 block for the M5. Later, the powerplant was also used in the M6. The block produces a bizarre 507 HP and 520 Nm of torque. This allows the big sedan with fat bilge to go to 100 in just 4.7 seconds and 9.2 seconds later to 200, putting its predecessor with "only" 400 HP in a carbon schwarz corner in the process. The V10 block manages to put goosebumps on our arms, at 7750 rpm the 'M-funf' only makes all 507 M horses assert themselves. BoooOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAP! We say Eisenmann auspuff to finish t off, but who are we....
Our BMW M5, like all our cars, comes from a private collection and has realized from the beginning that she was special. Besides being very well maintained, our M-er has driven only 36 thousand kilometers! Right. Something about a roaring cherry on top. This M icon deserves to be restored to a lovers heart! Will we see you soon?
