The story behind this collectible...
More lovable, more rounded than a Bentley Continental GT. Drives better than a Ferrari 575. Less expensive than all it’s rivals. A real, fabulous, magnificent; Aston Martin. - Jeremy Clarkson
This 2+2 grand tourer from Aston Martin was groundbreaking. Innovative in every way. Marek Reichman, design director of Aston Martin, has thought about every detail. Enjoying this car starts when you grab the glass key from the table in your English country house. You see that it is not just any key, but a beautifully designed designer piece with cut glass and brushed aluminum. When you get the key in your hands, it immediately gives you a sense of ownership, the theme song of the Champions League starts playing in your head. You get in, and push this key into the beautiful wooden dashboard, and when you push it again you are pleasantly overwhelmed by the roaring sound of the 6.0 V12. You giggle a little, and are slightly tense. The car feels like a gentleman's vehicle, but when you get to higher revs you unleash a bloodthirsty English tiger. Pure emotion is evoked by a balance between power, performance and chic elegance. You look at the center console and see that the car has a manual transmission, everything falls into place, after all you want to become one with the car. After half an hour of driving you know for sure; you have had the honor of driving an icon. You have driven a timeless Aston Martin DB.
Originally, the Swedish-supplied car was with the same owner for 11 years. After that, the car was pampered for two years by a Dutch enthusiast, where the car always slept indoors. This can be seen in the immaculate paint in the rare Stratus White. The car has run so little in that time that you know for sure that this classic can still last a very long time. Power, beauty and soul come together in a sculpture of automotive passion. We challenge you to come and drive the Aston Martin for a while, and then fall in love. It is definitely a collector's item due to the low mileage, and it is manual. Say no more. See you soon?
