As you may have noticed, we are secretly a little bit of a BMW fan. The kid in the class who gets a little more attention and love. Not because we do it on purpose, but out of love for the brand. The shark nose, the quadruple headlights, modest winks for the enthusiast but certainly not too conspicuous. BMW started making cars because after WWI, Germany was no longer allowed to produce fighter planes. Did this disappear? No, BMW still made fighter machines, but on wheels!

Ours neither; the E28 535i with the iconic M30 block. 218 Bavarian horses rush and stamp behind the (then still beautiful) BMW kidney grilles. The entire interior also feels like a cockpit. All gauges, clocks and controls are focused on the driver, ready not to drive fast, but to fly slowly.

In the end, 722,328 E28s were born in Munich (!), but ours is very special. She is part of only 200 units, which were delivered via the predecessor of BMW Individual. How do you recognize her?
