The story behind this collectible...
When Pietro Frua presented the first designs for the Quattroporte to the Maserati board in the early 1970s, everyone was scratching their heads as to why they hadn't come up with this sooner. The idea of a sporty travel limo for the likes of heads of state, movie stars and policy makers as clients was perfect to leave to the Italians. The first type was an immediate insane success and was the fastest 4-door production car of the time, delivered with a 4.7 liter eight-cylinder! Bellissima, Pietro!
For the total of six generations that followed, several legends of the automotive design world got to work on the Quattroporte. Names like Bertone, Giugiaro, Gandini and Pininfarina have all collaborated and shaped the character of the Quattroporte over the years. Since 2013, we have arrived at the sixth generation and since then it may not be the fastest production sedan, but it certainly wins over everyone with its looks and sound! The sound of the Quattroporte is unmatchable; it grabs you time after time and makes you realize that Italians work from a passion for cars. At both low and high revs, this engine chases your tummy. Every growl, every roar, every vibration through your body.
And ours has it all! Originally an Italian and paid another visit to the upstairs neighbor for an extra shot of anabolics by Novitec. The German tuner has had a special branch dedicated to tuning Maseratis since 2007, called Tridente! Our trident has increased power to 605 prancing horses, all driven on the rear wheels. Combined with the deep black exterior, dark brown interior and 22-inch custom Novitec rims, everyone knows that someone is arriving who is going to reach his end goal no matter what, even if it requires a path through some back doors. We would like to invite you to come and experience this for yourself!
