Jaguar XK150 3.4 DHC
Specifications
– Jaguar; it’s not just a car you buy, it’s a respect you own –
The Jaguar XK150, the successor to the XK120 and XK140. The type name referred to the top speed of the cars in miles per hour. In reality, the 150 didn’t make it that far, but with 135 mp/h it was one of the fastest production cars in the world at the time. With that disappointment it stopped, because what beautiful cars they are! The 150 can be distinguished from its predecessors by its curved windscreen, which instead of a split-window, consists of one whole. Also, the grill in the nose was slightly wider and the windscreen was moved backwards, making the nose look a bit longer.
Our XK150 has been fully restored in 2008 so the car is in very good driver condition again. The interior is dark brown with an orange trim. The deep orange color with the whitewalls on the tires fit beautifully with the dark brown interior with orange trim. The hood is white-beige on the outside, but also on the inside, which gives a pleasant and spacious feeling when closed.
Outside the optically beautiful condition, the necessary overhaul has been done to make the XK150 even more of a real driver’s car. The engine and automatic gearbox are completely overhauled and original. So it concerns a matching numbers Jaguar, with Jaguar Trust Certificate. The electrical part has been completely converted to 12 volts with an alternator.
In short; an ultimate gentle man sportscar that is ready for a lot of enjoyable miles!
