The story behind this collectible...

It's not politically correct (what better reason is there?).
- Porsche Germany

The Porsche 911 Targa is a heart-stopping beauty from the beloved (late) 1960s. When gas stations were still served, cigarettes graced the birthday table and hippie culture challenged standards.

The iconic Targa top combines the thrill of driving with the sun on your crown, the sleek look of the Targa Bar and the convenience of a hardtop. The nice thing about this one is that this is a custom made project. The previous owner put his heart and soul into this gem and gave it all the attention it needed.

Now let's talk about its uniqueness, starting with the color. Wunchfarbe Kristalblau, one of the rarest colors on demand, only delivered by Porsche for a limited number of years. Reportedly, only a total of 75(!!!) examples left the Porsche factory in Stuttgart in this color. Restored to perfection. Everything, not only new and fresh, but closing with perfect seams all around.

But the big party takes place in the 3.0-liter engine. And no, this is not a circle gathering with cheese and sausage in plastic trays, but a blast party that will be observed for years to come.

This stunning example is equipped with a 3.0-liter powerhouse. Which features new high compression pistons combined with 6 ITBs. Also called individual throttle bodies that provide an impressive amount of speed. Also, a computer-controlled injection ensures optimal fuel distribution. The computer controls, through a customized wiring harness, the right cylinder at the exact moment with the perfect amount of fuel (this is called sequential injection). All this is controlled by sensors and, if necessary, adjusted in real time by the computer. The party is completed with a racing flywheel and a custom gearbox for seamless "Schnell" shifting.

This set-up, together with stabis all around, provides an unprecedented driving experience. The car "hangs" on the gas and responds like no other to every press of the toe. The full stainless steel exhaust system provides the necessary aural icing on the cake. Believe us, many bystanders will break their necks.

Get in the driver's seat, and prepare yourself for an explosion between the class of the past and today's technology. A win-win situation. Don't forget to bring your wide-leg jeans, tie-dye shirts, aviator sunglasses and lots of attitude! There is so much more to tell about this one. In which we would love to share every detail with you, see you soon?!
