It is October 17, 1979, and Richard Scott steps into the Ferrari dealership in San Diego, USA. The day has finally arrived. Nine months ago he got down on his bare knees at the desk in this dealership and, with a scribble under an order form, kicked off production of his Ferrari 308 GTS. Determined, he chose a rare Argento Auteuil exterior with Nero interior and, of course, an open roof to catch the best California sun rays. At the sight of his vehicle on this day, every fiber in his body is activated and the hairs on his neck stand straight up. It's finally here.

Many years ahead in time and this described feeling did not disappear on anyone when seeing this iconic Ferrari example from the 1980s. This example was brought to the other side of the ocean by a Norwegian collector in 2010. Upon arrival, the car was "nut & bolt" restored with invoices that add up to over 170,000 euros, with attention to every detail and exceptionally documented, including original stamped booklets, as you have come to expect from us!
