The story behind this collectible...

Not just a boxy slice of nostalgia, but a Range Rover Classic as it was meant to be: stately on the driveway, unshakable in the mud.
As if it's on its way to afternoon tea — but secretly about to treat traffic laws as mere suggestions.

So what makes ours so special?
This isn't just any Classic. This is chassis number 1949A, one of the very first ever built. Fully restored by Dutch Range Rover specialist Tophat, and given a subtle (read: wildly enjoyable) heart transplant:
The original 3.5-litre Rover V8 has made way for a LT1 Corvette V8 producing around 500 horsepower, paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual gearbox.

Sounds ridiculous? Maybe.
Is it incredibly fun? Absolutely.

The Range Rover Classic has always been the perfect hybrid: half aristocratic family estate, half working farm vehicle.
But this one takes that concept to a whole new level — and speed. Classic looks, modern reliability, and an engine you’d never expect beneath such a noble silhouette.

In one sentence:
A British lord secretly blasting heavy metal at full volume.

And the driving experience? Picture this: you’re gliding down a country lane, turning heads with a poised, slightly sleepy diesel aura…
Then, one tap of the throttle — and the neighbour in his Jaguar suddenly realises his car is nothing more than a chromed mobility scooter.
The air suspension pins it down like a bowling ball to the road, the Koni dampers keep the corners in check, and the brakes rein in all 500 raging horses with aristocratic ease.

Modern touches like air conditioning, ABS, power steering, remote central locking, alarm, armrests, and a tow bar are seamlessly integrated — never compromising the classic design or soul.
Concours-worthy looks, daily usability. A flawless blend of timeless elegance and serious performance.

Fully restored by Tophat — not a quick garage job, but a bespoke, professional build with meticulous attention to detail.
Discreet modern electrical and safety upgrades have been tastefully woven in, without disturbing the original lines or spirit.
