When the brands merged, Austin and Healey both had different influences on this model; Austin was a manufacturer of beautiful and solid passenger cars, where Donald Healey was a speedster and card designer. The Austin Healey 3000 MK 3, is the last of the 3000 series and a true gatekeeper with speed, British style and a raucous punchy 6-in-line.

The recently overhauled engine with 2 SU carburetors and aluminum Denis Welch cylinder head. The carburetors provide the perfect blend of the purest air from Birmingham and a shot of high-octane fuel.

This engine, mated to a Getrag five-speed transmission, shifts more smoothly than butter melting on a scone just out of the oven.
