It doesn’t get any more serious than this. The GT is the ultimate evolution of the already impressive Alpina B5 and also marks the end of an era: this is the last true Alpina, the final model fully developed in Buchloe.
Based on the BMW M550i and powered by the well-known N63 V8 biturbo engine, this car takes performance to another level. While the standard engine produces 530 hp, Alpina increases output to 608 hp in the B5. In this exclusive B5 GT, it goes even further: 634 hp, making it more powerful than the M5 of the same generation.
The performance figures speak for themselves. This touring accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and continues relentlessly to a top speed of 330 km/h.
This particular example is finished in the rare and sporty Imola Red II (paint code 405), combined with a full leather BMW Individual interior—exactly what you would expect from an Alpina GT.
The specification list is exceptionally comprehensive. It starts with the special Alpina package by request, featuring an exclusive Walnut Anthracite interior. The car sits on the signature 20-inch G30/G31 Alpina B5 forged wheels, perfectly completing the look. In addition, it is equipped with board equipment, M Sport Package, extensive bodywork options, a modified exhaust system, and optimized engine control. Further highlights include a limited-slip differential, sport suspension, and the high-end Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
And then the standout detail: just 620 kilometers. No typo. Practically new, this car represents pure Alpina heritage and raw performance—likely one of the last opportunities to own a true Alpina in its purest form.
