Het verhaal achter deze...
This Porsche 911E is in a really fantastic condition. This Porsche was built by the current owner with much love and care and is in mint condition. Everything was addressed and is completely "matching numbers". The original color "signal orange" matches her very well! In 2014, the Porsche came from the USA to the Netherlands. The engine did not had to work much after the revision. This Porsche is guaranteed an "eye-catcher" and ready for many miles!
The Porsche 911 (pronounced nine eleven) is the most famous sports car of the German car manufacturer Porsche. The appearance of the car was designed by Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche, the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, founder of the Porsche brand. The familiar shape has hardly changed in the last 50 years. The Porsche 911E model was produced from 1969 to 1973.
The 911E replaced the 911L, which stands for "luxury". The 911E was designed for more comfort than the 911S. The 911E is therefore positioned between the 911T (Touring) and the 911S (Super). The E stands for the German injection. This "mechanical fuel injection, MFI" was developed by Bosch and Porsche.
The MFI of this Porsche was replaced by Webers. The reason for this is that the MFI is difficult and can only be maintained by specialists (2 in NL). That makes that very expensive. The 911E comes standard with the "comfort" package: vented brake discs with aluminum calipers, velor carpet, leather steering wheel, heavy bumpers, rubber protective panels and chrome accents.
