Aston Martin V8 Volante

Het verhaal achter deze...
– You know she’s been driven before, but do you really care?
In 1972, Aston Martin kicked its established order just as hard; After the beautifully subtle DB4, -5 and -6 models, Aston came up with a statement. It had to be clear once and for all that the average Aston driver also had hair on his chest. So came the V8 (Volante). Daring, but an instant hit. It was as if Prince Charles gave Mrs. Monroe a sideways wink. End result? A 5.3 milk carton V8, thickly set hips and almost a muscle look. And yet, still the class and flair of an Aston. We think it is at least as successful as the other combinations of elegance and performance from Feltham!
And then there is the feeling of being a gentleman. As soon as you get in, you notice that this is still a real car. Real wood as interior trim, real Connolly leather (cuddly cows) and real aluminum.. And as soon as you wake her up? Another real V8 block, which makes atmospheric horses tread. They are generally a bit more spoiled and drink a bit more, but hey, the sound and the experience; Unbeatable!
Ours? A bit extra special. She was completely restored (nut and bolt) and overhauled a few years ago. During the overhaul, the engine was rebuilt to the 5.7 liter, which means extra spoiled horses for your long driveway. Because that standard 304 HP is makeshift, Charles! Her entire interior has been replaced with new Connolly cows and everything has been restored down to the last detail to how she once gave her first smiles a litre. This has also been recognized (and badged) by the Aston Martin Heritage club. Now you, neighbor! See you soon.
