The story behind this collectible...

This 1957 Triumph TR3 began its life under the California sun, but oh boy, what a modification this one went through! Officially though registered as a 1958 model with Estonian registration, which sounds like a well-kept secret. In 2010, this British charmer received a serious makeover of some $150,000.00 in the United States. This was an absolute passion project of the previous owner, with this being his last asset. This handsome rascal shines in red, and is not at all afraid to show some muscle. Check out those custom wheel arch extensions, chrome bumperettes, and those dual side exhaust pipes - it sure knows how to show off.

Inside, it's like a tasteful cocktail bar. Bucket seats coated in beige vinyl. But this TR3 has a modern twist with a Pioneer stereo system and a Moto-Lita steering wheel. The digital odometer? Well, it reveals that it has only seen a few miles. Under the hood is a 347ci Ford stroker V8, giving it a rebellious edge. An Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and a custom intake with dual taper filters. With a Tremec five-speed transmission and a Currie 9″ rear axle, this TR3 is ready to gum the rubber off the tires!

To get all this right on the road though, it has a custom suspension. À la Mustang II-style independent front configuration and a four-link rear configuration, THAT kicks ass!!!

This is unique in the automotive world, a one of a kind which cannot be compared to other specimens in motorsport is. If we ourselves may make a comparison, the Carrera GT is an Ardennes draft horse. The Bugatti Chiron an Arabian thoroughbred, then our TR3 is a 500-kilo buffalo that races through a china store.

So, if you're looking for an instant adrenaline rush and putting your steering skills to the test, this 1957 Triumph TR3 is just the thing that won't make your neighbor happy.

Stop by the Cool Classic Club soon, before this buffalo runs wild.
