Where boyhood dreams begin. Where lines have been timeless for ages and where proportions correspond to Brazilian top model buttocks. And then the raw power, which keeps pushing to almost 9,000 RPM; Toe-curling and sodeju, how fast it goes.... At our Clubhuys, we hit the ground running again.
The 991.2 GT3 has lost 40kg from its predecessor after years of strict dieting. Fortunately No Roderick, that's not a quick tie down for the golf bag. That's downforce, something you really need with this machine! The 4.0L boxer received an additional 25 HP after the facelift, bringing the total up to 500 lapping horses from the Stuttgart stable.
And then why not a GT3 RS? Well, ours, if you have all the buttons set to 'good' mode, can also be used without a kidney belt! When you flip the 'Sport' button, it seems like the Porsche is finally allowed to do what it was really made for. Clammy hands, itchy underbelly and, above all, lots of smiles. Her suspension is such that from now on, breaking out into a cloverleaf can easily be done with your gas pedal.
We do have something to pick up again. A Dutch delivered, always maintained at Porsche center Gelderland and Amsterdam. It has the stamp booklet complete. Fortunately, much attention has also been paid to the options list, where the ink has flowed profusely. Among other options, this one includes a highly desirable elevator system, useful for maneuvering over the cobbles in northern Italy. On the German autobahn, the sport seats really prove their worth.
