- You are one ride away from a good mood.
And that is not a lie; what a treat it is to treat yourself to British flair and German technology. Technology that has been revised, because the Green Label Arnage came with a 4.5 liter V8 from the BMW range. The Greenlabel did not manage to give you the feeling that you had in its predecessors; an abundance of everything. The engine was a bit slow and had many teething problems. In 1999 it was decided to reverse the decision that had already been taken (BMW engines). The mighty 6.75 liter returned in the Arnage under the name 'Red Label'. Finally everything was right again; lots of silky smooth power, especially a lot of torque. 835 NM, something you only hear in the modern diesel industry.
The names 'Green label' and 'Red label' are actually reversed in the Whisky world. At Johnny Walker, the 'Red label' stands for the standard blend, where the 'Green label' is a single malt. Our Arnage, now that we're talking in whiskey terms, ours is a non-chil filtered single malt!
Our Bentley Arnage is from the first owner and has only driven 27 thousand kilometers in the past 20 years. On January 3, 2000, the Arnage was delivered new to Tamsen, Rolls Royce and Bentley dealer in Germany. It has always been serviced there and of course all this is in the booklets. Apart from the service booklet, our Bentley has all the documentation that you get with the car. The umbrellas in the back have never been used; as well as the new battery charger that is still in the Bentley case. This makes it a very pleasant car outside, a very good investment.
All this together with its beautiful deep dark blue color and beige leather makes it a real gentleman's car. Understated beauty, but enough flair to help remind yourself that you are driving a Bentley.
