The story behind this collectible...
The story of the Porsche 928 is perhaps just as interesting as the car itself. In 1978, the 928 was first shown to the public. Initially, the plan was to phase out the 911 in favor of the Porsche 928. However, the 911 is now the icon, even though it was already an oldie with 15 years of production when the 928 was presented. The 928 was completely different; a big V8 that traded the trunk for the nose. This made the weight distribution exactly 50/50.
Rumors are going around that Porsche may breathe new life into the 928, as a sporty GT brother compared to its big brother, the Panamera.
Our 928 S4 is in absolute mint condition. The serious Grand Tourer has been fully serviced by the dealer and Porsche specialists. The Porsche is equipped with virtually every option (climate control, cruise control, board computer, electric sliding roof, electric seats, etc.). In addition, he recently had a major service at Porsche specialist (Sportscars Repair) where the distribution, water pump, steering gear and brakes were replaced. In addition, this 928 comes from a private collection and has something special; namely everything, down to the last detail, functions and is in (almost) new condition. All this makes this copy a real collector's item and an interesting investment!
