Mercedes 280 SEL 4.5

We have succeeded in finding a real Cool Classic again. A Mercedes 280 SEL W108 4.5 liter eight-cylinder in very good condition with a beautiful color combination.

The W108 was the successor of the W111 Baureihe in the mid-sixties and was in turn succeeded by the W116 (first official S-class) in the late seventies. Ultimately, only 11,309 units of this 280 SE 3.5 version were built.

Our Weisse W108 is, apart from the condition (which we describe as excellent), fully documented. She started her life in Palm Springs, California with her first owner George Garcia. 46 years later she came to the Netherlands, where she is still owned by her first Dutch owner. He in turn provided the Mercedes with a new interior and recently had a complete technical check.

The important options of the 280SEL are; automatic, power steering, heated rear window, headlights and armrests both front and back. We can also say with certainty that the mileage is correct, because in addition to the original title, we also have all the American maintenance history. In addition, we had the Mercedes completely checked by our specialist and the conclusion came from that the entire bottom is rust-free and almost unrestored!

The V8 block even delivers more than enough racehorses for modern traffic (200) and sounds wonderful. Not only the appearance is impressive, but the technology also fits in seamlessly.
