BMW M3 CSL

- When you are driving something from the M-department, drift happens. -

An old saying goes; never meet your hero's. It suggests that the paragon in your head is often more romantic than reality. We proved them wrong, because this E46 M3 CSL is so good! It was the third generation of the 3-series stable that the 'Motorsport' department of BMW was allowed to interfere with.

A bunch of fanatics with only one thing on their mind; Going fast. Very hard. Sideways, and so on.

When you wake up the 3.2 six-in-line you are treated to the iconic growl that they only get in Munich. Horsepower? According to BMW M somewhere between 350 and 370. Its Schwartz metallic accentuates the thicker hips, the delicious ducktail and the well-shaped side-skirt. The "Gurney-flap" (probably German humour) and the four pipes give a lot away, we're not going to describe it as modest either. Rather, as a car that is "aware of its significant status", especially among BMW enthusiasts like us.
