This 1972 Porsche 911 “Ölklappe” is one of the rarest air-cooled 911s ever built and offers the purest driving experience, originally delivered in Hamburg with matching numbers, full factory options, and the ultra-special Aubergine paint, available only on special order.
To bring this rare classic to perfection, it underwent a full Nut & Bolt restoration. The body was stripped, blasted, repaired, and refinished in its original color, with textile coating where appropriate. The engine was completely rebuilt by BMR, and the gearbox fully overhauled by Porsche specialists at BassantParts. All suspension bushes, rubbers, and bearings are new, the brakes rebuilt, and the chrome redone. The car was meticulously aligned and tuned by experts ready to jump in and drive straight to the south of France.
Inside, the leather seats were restored to original specification, and a period-correct Blaupunkt radio adds a beautiful touch. On the outside, the car is fitted with polished Fuchs wheels, with rare Carrera RS rear wheels for improved stance and handling, a true enthusiast’s detail.
This 911 comes with a Porsche Classic Birth Certificate, verifying engine, gearbox, and chassis numbers, as well as all original factory options: Comfort Package 470, front headrests, rear tow hook, stabilizers, antenna with speaker, and fog lights. Every part of the restoration is fully documented with invoices and over 400 photos.
A truly outstanding, perfectly restored, and extremely rare 911, this Ölklappe is ready to delight its next owner, purely and unreservedly.
