- The 911 G-model, a car for heroes. -
What does the ‘G’ stand for? Ganz geile Karre! Man, the Germans can make some great cars. The Americans didn’t think the convertible was safe enough, and came up with an aluminum roll bar. Those Americans did ensure that one of Porsche’s greatest icons was born; the Targa.
This super cool classic comes from one of our regular partners: Lusso Classics. They brought the car from the USA 4 years ago and restored the car, except for the interior, almost nut & bolt with new parts. Now back to the Americans and their legislation. The USA-spec 911 2.7S was originally a pinched horse. Ours has been completely restored with European camshafts, normal pistons, to make it a German thoroughbred again. The cool thing about this car is that it was originally delivered triple-black. That means black interior, exterior (and roll bar), black hood and black back of the wheels. That's why this matching car is so incredibly popular as a classic. Now it's just a new owner with fast sunglasses and a practiced wink that will win hearts at the traffic lights.
See you soon?
