Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG

Cheaper than a divorce attorney and quite a bit faster too! -

Mercedes still (thankfully) delivers fat V8 AMG models, although they are not as fat as they used to be. Even the G63 AMG has to make do with a heavily blown 4.0-liter these days. As far as we are concerned, this used to be much better.... Back then, there was the SL55 AMG with an engine that didn't fool the name; a 5.4-liter M113 under the hood with 501 Stuttgart horses. The power source that, by the way, was also found in the SLR McLaren, with over 600 lapping horses.

We find the sound of a "somewhat older" AMG phenomenal. As soon as the tachometer shoots toward 6,000 rpm, you are rewarded with a mighty combination of roar and howl. All the stigmas surrounding the car have disappeared and everyone is slowly agreeing; this is a beloved young timer. A perfect combination if you ask us; the finer things of today (every conceivable modern comfort option; air conditioning, seat heating, electric seats and roof), but with the "older" genuine AMG DNA.

Our SL55 AMG obviously stands out even further from the rest with its stunning, distinctive color composition (Designo Mocca Black exterior with Designo porcelain interior) and a very unique low mileage. Entrepreneurs, beware, you can give this wonderful daily'and as a VAT car and thus end the fiscal year correctly. So yes, we thought of the rational side as well. Saves a few nights of couch sleeping at home.Everything functions as we are used to from a Mercedes. In short; one of the best AMG's ever made!
