The story behind this collectible...
The MG B is perhaps one of the most popular classics in the world. And rightly so. It is an incredibly fun car. It was produced for no less than 18 years in all kinds of versions and this is the best in our opinion. The MGB GT V8. The V8 part in particular appeals to us enormously. When starting the car, the music from the exhaust sounds fantastic. In many cars it is a growl or a roar but this is truly a symphony that Bach or Mozart could learn a thing or two from.
The MGB was produced for a very long time as mentioned before and that is why they are easy to find. However, a good one like this is hard to find. It is in beautiful condition and all the doors and valves close seamlessly. The engine runs fantastically so it is a car to enjoy without any worries. In total, 402 MG B V8s were delivered in Damascus red, which makes the car even rarer.
The car is from 1974 and was brought to the Netherlands in 1998 and has had two owners since then. There is a FIVA identity card included and in it you can see that the car was also delivered with “Period Style, Sporting Seats” and “Kenlowe, electric cooling fan”. She is right-hand drive, but that should not spoil the dream. Only seven were delivered with a steering wheel on the left. Will we see you soon? You will not be disappointed and the coffee is free.
