The story behind this collectible...

The Maserati Quattroporte was born in the 1960s. Giulio Alfieri is responsible for the all-new 'saloon' project. With the aim of creating elegance, power and refined class for a 'Quattroporte' (four-door). Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro is responsible for the third generation. With its sharp lines typical of the (late) 70s early 80s.

This 1982 Maserati Quattroporte was originally delivered in Italy and then managed to brave German roads. Powered by a 4.9-liter V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The 4.9-liter DOHC V8 was factory-equipped with four Weber downdraft carburetors and has an output of 288 spirited horses. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission with dog-leg shifting.

Additional equipment includes 15″ Campagnolo wheels, disc brakes on four wheels, dual exhausts, electrically adjustable front seats, air conditioning, and AM/FM cassette stereo. Great for sharing at the local trattoria over a bell of Barolo with Focaccia! The interior includes power-adjustable front bucket seats and a rear seat upholstered in brown leather that extends to the center console.

This distinctive Italian features recent maintenance. Curious about the whole story? We would love to help you!
