The story behind this collectible...

The Jaguar XJS, an iconic classic with an impressive past and a challenging legacy: succeeding the legendary E-Type. Whereas the E-Type was known for its sheer sportiness, the XJS emphasized luxury and comfort without losing sight of speed. With its introduction, the XJS was immediately equipped with Jaguar's powerful 5.3-liter V12, good for a whopping 285 horsepower. This results in impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, and a top speed of over 250 km/h.

Our Jaguar XJS convertible, originally delivered in Switzerland, is an exceptional specimen. It has been owned by only three owners to date, which contributes to its uniqueness and meticulous maintenance history. Did you know that the first XJS convertibles were built by the American company Hess & Eisenhardt, because Jaguar itself initially struggled to produce a convertible? Today, of course, Jaguar has fully mastered that!

This beautiful example, with its striking combination of performance and refinement, has been perfectly maintained and is ready for a new chapter. A true "driver's car" that is not only rare, but also full of fun and character. Stop by Cool Classics to experience this unique opportunity. Will we see you soon?
