The story behind this collectible...
Yes, congratulations! You've found the key to pure car happiness -
The Jaguar E-type Series 3 OTS. A car from the time when smoking was healthy, television had only one channel and most importantly; the time when driving a car was real driving, without aids or sensation-enhancing foppery!
The E-type was introduced in Europe on March 15, 1961 at the Geneva Motor Show and in the United States in April of the same year at the New York Motor Show. When the car was first shown, Enzo Ferrari called it "The most beautiful car ever made. To this day, he is right!
Our E-type is of the last generation, the Series 3. In 1971, the Series 3 was introduced. The most notable change was the brutal 5.3-liter V12 engine block. Because it was such a heavy block, power steering also became standard. Furthermore, the wheel arches were slightly flared and the grille was slightly larger, to cool the muscular black cat. With the four wide exhaust trim pieces that roar and growl wildly when the Jaguar is started, as an enthusiast you can't escape stepping in every time with a broad smile.
This is pure passion in its purest form. Recently fully restored to perfection and driven in for you over 1,000 miles. Which in car terms means she just got her test drive license. This beauty comes from the collection of a collector with a penchant for the finer things in life and an exceptionally keen eye for detail. This is also the rightful reason that she is equipped with a 5-speed Getrag gearbox, making long highway rides a lot more enjoyable without the engine having to scream into the revs like an opera singer. Step into the interior, an oasis of luxury with calf leather upholstery and dark piping - every detail has been chosen with love. This car is ideal for long trips and perfect for taking on vacation. Many smiles per liter guaranteed!!!
