Inside the sacred halls of the Clubhuys, we had the pleasure of welcoming an absolute beast: the BAC Mono. Unfortunately for you (but lucky for one), this monster was sold before it even hit the market. And trust us, hallelujah, what a machine it is.
Never heard of it? Think of it as the unholy lovechild of cutting-edge tech and pure, unfiltered performance. This particular weapon, built in May 2017 (chassis number 70), is a later ‘W’ specification, featuring a wider cockpit and several upgrades. What makes it extra special? It’s basically a Formula 3 car, except it’s road-legal in the Netherlands. And after Brexit? Good luck getting another one registered.
Under the hood (well, sort of) sits a custom-built 2.5-liter four-cylinder Mountune engine, screaming out 305 hp at 9,000 rpm. And with a featherweight 570 kg body, this thing doesn’t just move, it teleports. The Hewland six-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shift and limited-slip diff isn’t just for show either. Shifts? Ridiculously fast.
With both pride and a tiny tear in our eye, we hand over this monster to its new owner. Enjoy it, because spotting one of these in the wild is rarer than a sunny Dutch summer.
