News for 2026!

‍This season, we are stepping it up a notch with a number of cool innovations:

• The Season Grand Prize: An exclusive Café Rally competition watch awaits the winners (for both team members!).
• A 'tasty' stopover: Halfway through the drive, we will provide a tasty surprise.
• Digital precision: All rallies this year will be run with digital checkpoints via the app.
• Time Pressure: For the Sport Class, multiple rallies are now driven against the clock (previously this was only during the final). The Touring Class may have to deal with the clock once this season.

‍About the Rally

‍The Gooise Café Rally evenings traditionally start and end at our Club. It is a true navigation rally using topographical maps and well-known systems such as the 'drawn line' and the 'shortest route via arrows'.

‍What do you need? A car, a driver, a navigator, and a healthy dose of good humor. Although any type of car is welcome, we (and the public!) naturally prefer to see classics, exotics, or convertibles at the start. Don't have a classic yourself? You can easily rent driving cultural heritage via www.rallywereld.nl.

‍The Competition: The competition consists of five editions. The best three results count towards the final standings. Therefore, you do not need to be present all five times to stand a chance at the title, ideal if you or your navigator is unable to attend on one occasion. The dates are March 6, May 8, June 27 (Cool Classic Rally), September 4, and October 2. The major 1-day Cool Classic Rally on Saturday, June 27, counts as a stage in the Café Rally competition. There are trophies and medals for the top 3 in the field, for both the driver and the navigator.

‍Registration

‍You can register in two classes:

• The Sport Class: For advanced and experienced navigators.
• The Touring Class: For novice and recreational drivers.

Cost: €60 per team (two people) per evening. This includes professional route maps, an explanation map, and (if necessary) a scale ruler. The stages are on average 60 to 65 kilometers long. The rally involves a driving distance of about 60 to 65 kilometers, so there will be some additional fuel costs.

‍Where and when?

‍The pub rally evening starts with a walk-in from 5:00 PM at the Club, with an optional delicious and reasonably priced rally meal. The start is always around 5:30 PM, and after a good two hours of rally driving, we are back at the starting location between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Then it is time for beer and bitterballen. Around 10:00 PM, there is the awards ceremony with trophies or medals for the top contenders in the standings. The evening is often accompanied by live music or a DJ, so count on the party continuing for quite a while...

‍Route control via the app

‍No more hassle with orange signs along the road! We drive almost entirely using the Rallywereld app. As a result, the outcome is known immediately after the event. Download the app in advance and log in with your email address; naturally, we will help you get started on-site if necessary.
