Saab 99 Combi
Specifications
In 1968, the ‘iconic stubborn brand’ Saab presented the successor to the 96; the 99. A completely renewed car compared to its predecessor. The 99 was powered by a 1.7-liter four-in-line engine developed by Triumph.
Saab was – and still is – known for its safety. The 99 was the first car with a compressible steering column, a body with crumple zones and the well-known ignition switch in the middle tunnel. Another nice fact; The bodywork of the 99 was so strong that homologation in rally sport did not even require a roll cage!
Our Saab 99 is an original Swedish-supplied car and has a full history. In addition to the usual original booklets and invoices, we have the delivery documents and necessary magazine articles about this specific car. This 99 is certainly not modest in the recognition of its state and history; she has won several prizes. All owners (3) are known. The 99 is in competition condition. We dare to say that it is the most beautiful Saab 99!
